The iMiX16 Theatre Show System serves as a versatile solution for professionals involved in live theatre and performance production, including theatre engineers, stage managers, choreographers, magicians, puppeteers, cruise ship entertainers, and educators globally.

Key features include the ability to play multiple audio, video, and image channels simultaneously; precise volume adjustments with fade-in and fade-out controls; master volume management; external display support via adapters without mirroring; synchronization of media channels; looping functions; and the capacity to load, save, import, or export individual setup configurations. The app also offers a built-in web browser for media downloads, audio trimming, slideshow creation, and playlist management that simplifies cue control through a single interface.

Its MIDI functionality allows for USB or Wi-Fi control via MIDI controllers, facilitating integration with other audio equipment and software. The OSC protocol enables communication with other OSC-enabled applications. External Bluetooth keyboards or remotes can be employed for control, and compatibility with Audio Ape Remote extends remote operation possibilities.

The iMiX16 line includes different tiers: the Go version with limited usage of 16 channels across audio, video, and images; the Pro version supporting 16 channels each; the Pro32 supporting 32 channels; and the Pro64 supporting 64 channels. This scalable architecture supports complex theatrical setups through the combination of multiple media players.

The system is compatible with the default iPad media library synchronized via iTunes, including file sharing and media import/export with other applications.
